Michaela Haines took to the stage with Amazing Grace star, Benedict Cumberbatch, St Trinians star, Talulah Riley and HRH The Prince of Wale,s in front of a 1,500-strong crowd.
Michaela, who won the Educational Achiever of the year award, was previously taking sole responsibility for her younger siblings and carrying out countless household duties.
Life changed for Michaela after she completed the Prince's Trust XL programme. She gained in confidence and motivation, and has achieved a number of other qualifications including AQA adult literacy and numeracy, her bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and a basic first aid certificate.
Michaela said: "I really enjoy learning now, and knowing that I'm doing well is a great feeling. The Prince's Trust changed everything for me."
