Theatr Fforwm Cymru, one of the UK's leading educational charities, is on a man hunt.
"We're not being sexist, and certainly not salacious," explained assistant director Karen Chandler .
"But we are really keen to recruit more male volunteers."
The Pembrokeshire charity already has a fantastic and enthusiastic team of mainly female volunteers, they are now looking for some more men, aged 18 to 80, to even up the gender balance and get involved in their exciting and challenging work.
"Life as a volunteer with Theatr Fforwm Cymru is varied and challenging" said Karen. "We work with a huge variety of groups in Pembrokeshire and throughout Wales.
"We work in schools, with young people in youth work settings, perform at conferences, work with refugees and asylum seekers, adults with learning difficulties, young carers - the list is endless.
"We know how important it is, particularly for young men, to have really good male role models - and so often our volunteers are the magic ingredient in our work - their enthusiasm, commitment and honesty makes a huge difference to those who we work with.
"It's not about acting" said Karen, "so we're not looking for people with any particular performance background. Our work focuses on emotional intelligence, and understanding how the way we feel affects our thinking and behaviour - and vice versa."
Theatr Fforwm Cymru promises that although they're actively looking for men, they'll look kindly on any female prospective volunteers as well.
