Dear editor - The article £20,000 child support bill puts home at risk' (Western Telegraph, March 5th) gave me food for thought, the main one being what private arrangement can make the CSA require this enormous amount returned?
I have great sympathy for anyone in danger of being made homeless, but it begs the question of this debt (supposed or otherwise).
If this £20,000 is owed it should be paid back to the taxpayers, as I presume a government agency has paid it out.
If it is not owed, then the CSA, a publicly funded organisation, has made an error and apologies should be forthcoming.
In both cases it would be myself and many other taxpayers who have footed the bill.
