Dear Editor - Regarding the letters about the climate change film shown to county councillors (Western Telegraph February 13th and March 5th).
The days of debate about whether human induced global warming is real are long over - there is no balance to be struck here; the only genuine uncertainties are the speed at which it is happening and the magnitude of its effects. The science that it is real, and is being rapidly increased by human activity is as unequivocal as it is possible to get.
Attempts to maintain the myth that there is still an argument about whether global climate change is real are deeply worrying.
