A MURDER investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman’s body at an address in Military Road, Pembroke Dock this morning.
Police have confirmed one man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
The incident led to a large police presence, including armed officers, in Military Road this morning.
"Enquiries are ongoing and police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation at this time," said a police spokesperson.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed they were called to the scene this morning, Friday, May 13, at around 8.40am to reports of an incident on Military Road in Pennar.
The ambulance service sent a rapid response vehicle and an emergency ambulance to the scene.

On the same day a man is reported to have died in unexplained circumstances near to Bush Street and Ferry Lane in Pembroke Dock. Police have said that at this stage there is nothing to suggest the two incidents are linked.
