A Pembroke Dock man who was found guilty of handling stolen goods has been given a 12 months community sentence and ordered to pay £150 costs.
Barry John Sheehan of 7 Albion Court, Wellington Street, Pembroke Dock, was found guilty of the offence during a trial in November 2007.
The court heard how police found two rucksacks and three sleeping bags in a caravan occupied by 31-year-old Sheehan. The court heard that they had been taken by another man from outside Bierspool Cycles in Pembroke Dock.
He was sentenced by magistrates at Haverfordwest yesterday (Thursday). They passed a 12 month community order which includes a six month alcohol treatment order and a 12 month supervision order.
They also issued a restitution order for the goods.
