Tenby costguard has just come back from a rescue at the rocks near Castle Beach, where a 66-year-old man fell and injured his head and knee.
The man had been fishing on the rocks near the new lifeboat station. Shortly before 7.50pm he fell about six foot. He called the coastguard from where he had fallen.
Tenby coastguard and an ambulance were tasked to the scene. Because the man was 30 foot away from the top of the cliff, Tenby inshore lifeboat was also called.
The man was stretchered from the cliffs onto the ILB which took him round to an area of beach where the ambulance was waiting.
The casualty is now on his way to Withybush Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be serious.
