Police are appealing for the driver of a white lorry to come forward, following a one vehicle crash at Portfield Gate this morning, in which two women have been seriously injured.
Emergency services received a 999 call at 9.18 this morning. Police, ambulance and fire crew were at the scene.
The women were both in the car driving towards Haverfordwest. One was air lifted to Withybush Hospital, while the other was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police say witnesses saw a white lorry which minutes before the crash, travelling in the direction of Broad Haven. They believe that the lorry driver may well have important information and are appealing for him to get in touch with PC 87 Paul Evans at Haverfordwest road policing unit.
One of the casualties is said to be a local woman, both are currently undergoing treatment in Withybush Hospital.
Police said that the road will be re-opened in around 20 minutes, it has been closed since around 10am this morning.
