Dear editor - The future of the A40 at Robeston Wathen is one example of politicians thinking they know best.
Residents, businesses and safety campaigners all argue that a by-pass and, if possible, dualling, are vital measures that need to be put in place without delay.
Yet First Minister Rhodri Morgan claims the fears are unfounded as the ferry traffic divides at St Clears'.
If Mr Morgan's government cannot afford the improvements, or wishes to spend the money somewhere else, then he should say so.
