Fishguard and St. Davids Coastguard Rescue Teams came to the rescue yesterday (Sunday), after a cross breed collie named Bryn fell 30 foot down cliff.
The animal was one of two dogs walking with their owner on the cliffs near Barry Island, Aberieddy. The owner, from Boncath, stopped for a break and noticed that one of his pets had taken the plunge.
Coastguard teams found the hapless hound on a ledge a third of the way down the cliff. They descended and recovered the collie using a specially designed animal rescue harness.
Bryn was recovered unharmed and reunited with his owner
