Parts of Pembrokeshire have some of the highest Covid case rates in Wales.
MSOA (middle layer super output areas) date released by Public Health Wales has revealed that four areas in the county have a Covid case rate among the top ten per cent in the country.
More than one per cent of people in Crundale, Clynderwen & Maenclochog tested positive for coronavirus in the seven days between November 25 and December 1
During that seven-day period, 74 new Covid cases were recorded in the area, giving it a case rate of 1,027.1 cases per 100,000 people, the worst rate in Pembrokeshire.
Haverfordwest South, Tenby & Caldey, and Johnston, Broad Haven & St Ishamels, all also had some of the worst rates in Wales.
Covid case rates in Pembrokeshire
This is the coronavirus rate and number of new cases for every area across Pembrokeshire:
- St Davids & Letterston: 33 new cases; a rate of 434.1 per 100,000 people.
- Johnston, Broad Haven & St Ishmaels: 61 new cases; a rate of 729.8 cases per 100,000 people.
- Milford Haven West: 32 new cases; a rate of 418.8 per 100,000 people.
- Milford Haven East: 31 new cases; a rate of 415.1 cases per 100,000 people.
- Pembroke West & Castlemartin: 48 new cases; 649.2 cases per 100,000 people.
- Pembroke East & Manorbier: 41 new cases; a rate of 532.6 cases per 100,000 people.
- Pembroke Dock: 27 new cases; a rate of 279.4 cases per 100,000 people.
- Neyland: 61 new cases; a rate of 702.0 cases per 100,000 people.
- Haverfordwest South: 69 new cases; a rate of 964.9 cases per 100,000 people.
- Haverfordwest North: 47 new cases; a rate of 647.0 cases per 100,000 people.
- Crundale, Clynderwen & Maenclochog: 74 new cases; a rate of 1,027.1 cases per 100,000 people.
- Fishguard: 45 new cases; a rate of 454.5 cases per 100,000 people.
- Cilgerran & Crymych: 45 new cases; a rate of 529.8 cases per 100,000 people.
- Narberth: 27 new cases; a rate of 392.9 cases per 100,000 people.
- Saundersfoot: 48 new cases; a rate of 565.1 cases per 100,000 people.
- Tenby & Caldey: 48 new cases; a rate of 790.1 cases per 100,000 people.
