Road closures will hit much of the M4 in Wales this weekend.
Overnight closures will impact various parts of the motorway around Newport, Cardiff and Swansea.
These are the sections of the M4 that will be disrupted by road closures this weekend.
M4 weekend road closures in Wales
- M4 westbound, junction 24-28: The M4 will be closed between junction 24 for Coldra and junction 28 for Tredegar Park this weekend. Overnight closures will be in place on the westbound carriageway between 8pm and 6am throughout the weekend. They will end on Sunday morning at 6am.
- M4 eastbound, junction 43-42: Overnight closures will disrupt the eastbound carriageway of the M4 between junction 43 for Llandarcy and junction 42 for Earlswood this weekend. Resurfacing work will shut the road between 8pm and 6am each evening until Sunday morning.
- M4, junction 26: The entry slip road to the M4 will be closed at junction 26 this weekend. The slip road will be shut in both directions overnight to allow maintenance work to take place. The closures, between 8pm and 6am, will end on Friday, November 19.
- M4 eastbound, junction 45-44: The eastbound carriageway of the M4 will be shut overnight from Friday until Monday. The road will be closed between junction 45 for Ynysforgan and junction 44 for Lon Las to allow resurfacing work to take place. The closures will be in place between 8pm and 6am.
