Fishguard Musical Theatre Society (FMTS) received donations totalling £2,000 at its recent performance of Sister Act.
Stephen Roscoe, festival steward for West Wales Freemasons, presented cast members with a cheque for £1,500 from the West Wales Freemasons Charity. This is the third such donation to have been given over the past three years.
Also on the night Eurig Evans, master of the Strumble Lodge, Fishguard, presented the musical theatre society with a donation of £500. Strumble Lodge has made five donations of this kind since the society was founded.
Since FMTS was founded in 2016, it has received a total of £9,500 from the Freemasons.
Founder and producer, Rain Malone- Hallett said: “I would like, on behalf of all, to thank the charitable arm of the masonic lodge for their wonderful donation.
“Your gift will enable FMTS to continue to do what they do best and in return we will then be able to raise funds to support other community projects. Thank you very much.”
