THERE was absolute 'sproutrage' in Haverfordwest yesterday as crates of Brussels sprouts were left strewn across a roundabout in the town.
Police reported that up to nine crates of the vegetables fell from a trailer and were left strewn across the lanes of the round-a-sprout at Morrisons.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed the incident, which would have put the wind up drivers out and a sprout, was reported to the council.
"We received a report that eight or nine crates of Brussels sprouts had fallen from a trailer being towed by a 4x4 on Bridgend Square, Haverfordwest, at around 5.25pm yesterday (October 5).
"The matter was reported to the council to clear the highway."
It's sprout of site and sprout of mind now with Brussels' revenge over and the roundabout back to normal.
