I AM most concerned about the ridiculous proposal of the Boundary Commission to make a new seat following the A487 through Ceredigion and down to Fishguard and St Davids.
The length of this journey would be over 90 miles.
This is not a very fast road, as I know quite well, having been chairman of Ceredigion and Pembroke North Conservatives back in the 80s and then Chairman of Ceredigion and Mid Wales NHS Trust in the 90s.
Recently I have been travelling to St Davids for both dental and concert reasons.
How on earth is any Member of Parliament supposed to care for the needs of all his/her constituents in such a long, thin, strip?
I would suggest that the Boundary Commissioners get out their maps and think again.
