The case will be heard in Llanelli Magistrates Court next month
A 39-year-old Whitland man is denying a charge of assault.
Edmund Lee of Ty Gwyn appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on Thursday December 31
He pleaded not guilty to assaulting Daniel Fine by beating him in Carmarthen on November 25.
The case was adjourned and he was remanded on unconditional bail to appear before the court again on February 5.
