A convicted child abuser has been made the subject of a suspended prison sentence for breaching court orders.

Christopher Flavin, aged 66, had been jailed for six years and nine months in 2007 for sexually assaulting boys while he was a football coach.

After his release he moved to The Norton, Tenby, and was issued with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order restricting his access to young people.

But a judge at Swansea crown court heard today (Tuesday) how he was seen in a children's play area in Pembroke Dock.

Flavin, a father of two, admitted breaching the terms of the order.

He was jailed for eight months, suspended for two years, and ordered to pay a £140 court fee.

Flavin was jailed at Bristol Crown Court in 2007 for what the judge described as sickening offences committed while he was chairman of Gordano Valley Giants Football Club.

Flavin, then a schoolteacher, assaulted boys as young as 10.
