The marriage took place recently of John Hughes and Margaret Phillips at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel who met while working for Pembrokeshire County Council, at Portfield Special School.
The groom is the son of the late Harry and Enid Hughes, of Merlins Bridge, and the bride is the elder daughter of Bert and Thelma Brace, of Tenby.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a full length brandy gold satin chiffon dress, with sequins on the bodice.
The bridesmaids were Eleanor and Aimee Freeman and the flowergirls were Charlotte, Bethany and Ruby Poupard. The pageboy was Iwan Hughes and a reading was given by Daniel Freeman (bride's grandchildren).
The best man was family friend Raymond Wilcox, and the ushers were Bryan Hughes and Geoff Freeman. The marriage was witnessed by groom's sister Hilary Phillips and bride's daughter Sarah Freeman. Gina Jones sang during the ceremony.
A honeymoon in Paris will be taken later in the year.
