Two Moscow residents recently celebrated their marriage at St. Andrew's Church, Robeston West.
The groom is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. Elford of Hampton-on-Thames and the grandson of Jean James and the late William James, formerly of Milford Haven.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Arbor Buchanan and the late Robin Laverty, of Arkansas, America.
Given away by her uncle, Randall Laverty, the bride wore a champagne tulle gown and a Russian hand-embroidered veil. She carried a bouquet of delicate pink and cream roses.
Hedi Murphy (bride's sister) was the maid of honour and Jane and Max Murphy (bride's niece and nephew) were flower girl and page boy.
The bridesmaids were Marti Whelan, Amy Paton-Walsh and Michelle Thorp (bride's friends).
The best man was Michael Redman (groom's friend), assisted by ushers John Elford, (groom's brother) and Kyle Patac (bride's cousin).
Jon James (groom's uncle) was the master of ceremonies.
After a honeymoon in Paris, the bridegroom, who is a steel trader, and the bride, a writer, returned to Russia to live in Moscow.
