MERLIN'S Bridge in Haverfordwest experienced heavy traffic ths afternoon, after a lorry hit a railway bridge.
The A4076 Dredgman Hill was partially blocked due to the accident, which happened at Merlins Bridge roundabout, on the Milford Haven road.
The canopy of the haulage lorry was completely collapsed after colliding with the bridge, and was later tied down to the trailer to secure it.

There were delays along Freemens Way and the surrounding area, with cars backed up as far as County Hall/Salutation Square.
Firefighters from Haverfordwest were in attendance as a precaution and police directed traffic at the scene.
