HARDSHIP charity PATCH is £400 better off thanks to Pembroke & District Male Voice Choir.
At the choir’s AGM on February 13, Chairman Tony Ward presented the cheque from the choir, raised at its Christmas concert in December, to Dennis O’Connor, on behalf of PATCH, the charity based in Pembrokeshire which gives food parcels and much-needed help to families in financial crisis in our county.
PDMVC gives upwards of 20 concerts per year, with the vast majority of proceeds going to local charities such as this, this year being no exception, with 22 concerts already booked, and rising.
The next concert will be at the Pembroke Town Hall, on Thursday March 1, at 7pm, in aid of the RNLI; a combined music and cawl evening, tickets available from any choir member.
