There was a smoky start to Monday morning in Tenby's Tudor Square when a fire broke out in a lift shaft at the town's Tesco store.
Two fire crews from Tenby and one from Pembroke Dock attended the scene at 9am, and remained at the scene for over two hours.
The shop was closed to the public while the firefighters used hose reel jets and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the blaze.
The fire caused a considerable amount of smoke in the store and in multiple buildings in the area and these were ventilated by the fire crews using a pressure fan.
