AROUND 40 pupils from Stepaside CP School have achieved full marks for attendance in the Easter term.
This is the school’s largest number of youngsters for some time who have recorded 100 per cent attendance.
Many of them have now completed full attendance for the first two terms of the school year and are now striving to complete a further term without being absent to gain a special award.
Said attendance governor Mrs Williams: “It’s fantastic to see so many children making attendance in school a priority. In order to achieve their full potential, being in school is the first and most important step.”
