A CHARITY evening in memory of a talented local musician has raised £1,202 for the Paul Sartori Foundation.
Reg had played over the past decade at the Plash Inn, Llanfallteg, and landlady Christie Goymer decided to host a concert in his honour, with proceeds to the foundation which supported Reg before he passed away last year.
The evening in December saw performances from Whitland Male Voice Choir, Donna Jones, Christie, Martin and Hefina.
Henllanfallteg Community Association, Ellen Bridger and George Bagley provided the refreshments, and the event was compered by Aubrey Davies.
The cheque presentation was made on Saturday to the Paul Sartori Foundation’s fundraising co-ordinator, Toni Dorkings, when members of Reg’s family and Whitland Male Voice Choir were also present.
