Diamond Wedding celebrations for John and Nesta Davies of Whitland. (40070231)
CELEBRATING their diamond wedding anniversary last Thursday were Whitland couple, John and Nesta Davies of Pen yr Ardd, Spring Gardens.
Married at Llanfallteg Church in 1955, Mr and Mrs Davies ran Whitland’s Ivydene Garden Centre for many years and are well known and respected in the community
John recently published his first book, Farming for Better Profitability, which has been very well received.
The couple enjoys regular visits from their large and growing family, many of who also live locally.
Family and friends joined Mr and Mrs Davies at the Roadhouse Restaurant, Whitland on Saturday for their 60th anniversary party.
