Are you thinking of growing your own fruit and vegetables this year? Do you want to grow something different? Do you have spare seeds from last year you could share with others? Perhaps you are new to growing your own and would like to find out more?
Then come along to Seedy Saturday, at Transition Community Cafe, in Fishguard, on Saturday, February 21.
Last year’s event was a great success — all sorts of plants, cuttings and seeds were brought along by people wanting to swap them for something different.
There will advice available on what and how to grow from Kate McEvoy, of the Real Seed Catalogue, at Newport, and from some of Transition Bro Gwaun’s experienced gardeners “Last year, people were really generous and brought so much to swap that we had seeds and plants to spare,” said event coordinator Ann Bushell.
“So, if you don’t have anything to swap, I’m sure there will be plenty to spare again this year to take in return for a donation.”
