POLICE have said there are no suspicious circumstances in relation to the discovery of a man's body on the Pembrokeshire coast path at the weekend.

The Western Telegraph learned of a police presence in the village of Solva on Saturday morning.

Today, a police spokesman said: "At about 10.20am on Saturday morning we received a report that walkers on the coastal path near Solva had come across the body of a 51 year old man from the Swansea area.

"Emergency services went to the scene, and it was subsequently confirmed he had died.

"Next of kin have been informed. HM Coroner has also been informed.

"There are no suspicious circumstances."
