LOVE was certainly in the air in Haverfordwest on St Valentine’s Day.
ON a damp and dreary Saturday morning a team of Cupids set about spreading a little love, attaching dozens of heart-shaped balloons to lampposts and railings throughout the town centre.
The Haverfordwest Business Circle was behind the romantic spectacle, taking over from the street pastors who started the tradition last year.
The Business Circle is a newly formed group of independent businesses in Haverfordwest.
The chairman Brett Kilner said: “We decided to carry on this new tradition in the hope that it again brings a much needed smile to the town of Haverfordwest.
“We could not have done it without the help of those who had taken the time to help organise and who got up early to tie the balloons around the town.”
Mr Kilner added: “The event was also helped along by the generosity of the town and county councils and the 4C’s group which continue to show their generous support in revitalising Haverfordwest.”
