SHOPPERS cast aside their trolleys at Milford Haven’s Tesco store on Saturday, January 25 to join staff in a nationwide 'Dance for Diabetes.'
The town’s mayor Yvonne Southwell and local radio broadcaster Jim Hughes took time out from their busy schedules to drum up support, and even joined in the attempt to dance the world’s biggest Cha-Cha-Slide.
The donations raised from the event will go towards the £10 million Diabetes UK and Tesco are looking to raise help support those with and at risk of diabetes.
Debbie Mills, community champion at Tesco Milford Haven said: “Dance for diabetes is an enjoyable and energetic way to raise money for our national charity partner, Diabetes UK.
“Over 100 people joined in our dance on Saturday, it was fantastic. A big thank you to all who joined in and all who donated, we are grateful to Unison Dance who supported the event and kept us in step."
