THE family of a Haverfordwest man, who died aged 58, has donated £500 in his memory.
Following the death of David Hughes in August, his friends and family clubbed together to donate money to Winch Lane Surgery, where David was a patient for many years.
Dr Richards met Mr Hughes' widow Ann, and his sister Mrs Mary Morgan, to thank them for their kind gesture at this difficult time.
Practice manager Mrs Nicola Tinsley said: “We are very grateful to the family and friends of Mr Hughes for the donation of £500.
“All funds received in this way are used for the benefit of our patients; past purchases have included a blood pressure monitor for the waiting room; a defibrillator, an ECG machine and plant displays.”
