A MEETING to discuss setting-up a community men’s shed in Pembroke Dock will be held at the Pater Hall on Thursday, January 16, from 11am to 1pm.
A men’s shed is a dedicated, friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together for “a variety of mutually agreed activities”.
This includes sharing skills and knowledge, learning new skills or redeveloping old skills.
Men’s sheds are open to all regardless of age, background or ability.
New members are always welcome and there is something of interest for everyone as the men have ownership of the projects and decide their own programme of events.
Objectives of men’s sheds include advancing the health and wellbeing of the participating men and contributing to local communities.
