A FIRE crew from Pembroke Dock helped pump flood water away from the entrance of Golden Grove School, Pembroke, earlier today (Thursday, January 9).
Firefighters spent an hour at the scene after receiving a call at 12.14pm.
One mum, who was dropping her daughters off at the school this morning, helped carry other children across the road.
“I remember what it was like sitting in school with wet clothes all day,” she said. “I’m just one of those – if I can help, I will help.”
