A NUMBER of roads remain closed or blocked after severe flooding in the region.
As of 5.15pm the A4066 was closed due to flooding, the A477 Cleddau Bridge closed due to high winds, and Rickeston Hill blocked due to flooding.
Other roads to be affected by flooding this afternoon include Quay Street in Haverfordwest, Bridge Street, Cardigan, St Mary Street, Cardigan, and the A487 at Fishguard was said to be just passable due to flooding.

The A487 at Newgale is expected to remain closed throughout the weekend until the high tides subside as plant machinery will be needed to clear the debris from the road.

Natural Resources Wales is continuing to urge people near the Wales coast to remain prepared and keep themselves safe following extreme high tides which have caused flooding across many coastal communities.
Although the tides peaked this morning across large areas of Wales, this evening’s tides remain very high and predictions show that in Cardigan Bay they may be higher than this morning’s levels.
High tide at Milford Haven is expected at 7.44pm, with Tenby approx 15 minutes earlier, and Solva 15 minutes later.
Fishguard is about 1hr 15 mins after Milford Haven, and Cardigan +1hr 30 mins.
Winds are forecast to be force 9 to 10 from a southwesterly direction.
Very high tides are expected throughout the weekend.
