A Pembrokeshire artist has won a £10,000 prize for a poetry-inspired glass sculpture.
Linda Norris, from Maenclochog, won the Adrian Henri Poetry in Art Prize at Much Wenlock Poetry Festival for her glass sculpture ‘Her House Is Air’.
The title is taken from a poem by Gillian Clarke, National Poet of Wales.
“I am absolutely delighted to have won this fabulous award,” said Linda, who added that she would use the prize money to buy a new kiln and equipment for her studio.
The sculpture as on show at the Twenty Twenty Gallery, Much Wenlo, until April 20th and can now be seen at Oriel Linda Norris Gallery, in Maenclochog.
