Mr Athula WITHANAGE With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. Athula Withanage on Friday, 1st March 2024. Born in Gonagalapura, Sri Lanka, Mr. Withanage's journey led him to become a revered Clinical Director and Lead Clinician in General & Vascular Surgery at Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest, Wales. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Withanage touched countless lives with his surgical expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence. Beyond his surgical prowess, he was an accomplished writer and actor, leaving an indelible mark on the literary and theatrical communities. Mr. Withanage is survived by his loving wife Nelum, his children Triona, Shane, and Dylan, his son-in-law Rajindra and daughter-in-law Sumudu, as well as his grandchildren Kian, Liam, Shian, Riyon, Roshan, and Resan. A funeral service to honour and celebrate Mr. Withanage's life will be held at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth on Saturday, 23rd March 2024 at 12:15pm, followed by refreshments at Hotel Plas Hyfryd Narberth from 1.15pm onwards.
