I don't know if its me, or whether its a result of the weather improving, but I have seen many roadside verges becoming obliterated with mole hills, eg. Honeyborough roundabout and even the verges from Johnston towards Sentry Cross.
I mentioned it to a relative in Somerset and she said she'd noticed mole hills everywhere, as well.
Having had my back lawn ruined for 2 summers (2007 and 2008), I know what a pest they are and the mess they leave behind. Cutting the lawn last summer was like a rough surface where they had tunnelled and they had presumably collapsed.
Do we have a Mole pest problem in Pembrokeshire, I wonder?
