So now it seems that Chelsea and England team captain, John Terry, has been found out as a love cheat, along with golfer, Tiger Woods, a month or two back.
The media are passing judgement that those in the public eye should set an example at all times, because they are role models.
To be honest, I do not care what Tiger Woods or John Terry get up to in their private life, as long as they are not breaking the law, as they do not care what you or I get up to in ours.
If John Terry is good enough to captain Chelsea and England, then he should be left in his role as he has to answer to his wife, for his actions and thats bound to be far worse than whatever we might think!
Max Mosley won a court case against the News of the World for intruding in his private life and I cannot understand why the papers seem to relish such grubby stories. I am sure there are not many people who can hold their hands up and say they haven't done anything of a similar nature.
This is a private matter and we have no need to know the sordid details and I see today's Sun headline suggests that the woman involved has allegedly been involved with other members of the Chelsea team.
One thing we can all agree on is that it could cost John Terry millions, if his wife presses for a divorce.... but once again, thats his business and not my concern as he knew what he was letting himself in for, if he was found out.
Once again, as England are in the leadup to the World Cup, it seems the press are on the one hand saying England's chances of winning in South Africa are very good under Fabio Cappello, yet on the other, they are doing everything to undermine the team.
Maybe the journalists need to look at themselves and their lives, unless of course they are completely without sin!
Would the people of Wales be calling for Ryan Jones to resign as Rugby team captain if he was in the same situation as Tiger Woods or John Terry?
