They say that if you get good service, you tell a few friends and family, but if you get bad service, you will tell about 10 people.
As Pembrokeshire is a small county, population wise, the one thing that does get around is a person's reputation, whether it's good, or worse .... BAD!!
What I was also surprised at is that your reputation extends to the opposite end of the County.
About 3 years ago, we bought a replacement tumble drier as it wasn't working, properly. We had the intention of getting it repaired, but never got round to it. I did call one repairman to come out. He came out, had a look, did nothing .... and never saw him again.
It was only when the second drier developed a noise that sounded like an airplane taking off that I looked in the Mercury and Westerbn Telegraph small ads that I found Paul's Appliance Repairs, from Pembroke Dock.
I rung him at 10pm last night (Sunday) and he came and sorted BOTH of them out, just after 1pm, today. I had hoped one of them might be sorted, as I thought the other might need parts to be ordered. But to my surprise, Paul got both of them repaired! The charge was also very reasonable and less than what I feared.
So I believe that whilst so many are happy to spread the word of poor service, it makes a change to recommend someone, so give Paul a call on 01646-621490.
