Yet again, we get the pathetic message from the Police about what you can or can't do to protect yourself and property.
It appears Mylene Klass has been warned by the Police for brandishing a knife at some potential trespassers outside her property. Mylene was INSIDE her house at the time.
The result was that it frightened them away. As they didn't get to break into her property, steal anything, or assault or rape her, they were merely classed as trespassers.
The Hertfordshire Police apparently told her its illegal to brandish a knife, even in your own home.
So please remember that when you are about the cut the Sunday joint, or cut the bread or vegetables, that the Police could be watching!
As she frightened them off, I am 110% behind Mylene and the Police should instead be spending their time finding the perpetrators, rather than telling off Mylene.
Where is the common sense in the Police as it appears easier for them to tell off Mylene, rather than find those she saw off as she must have been frightened if she had to use a knife. Had she phoned the Police, how long would it have taken for them to get to her?
This story is rather similar to the woman in Dubai who reported she was raped and she and her boyfriend now face 6 years in prison for illegal sex. The Dubai Police are more concerned with the fact that she was staying at a hotel with her boyfriend, than the fact she was raped by a local male.
