I thought that it could not get any worse for Gordon Brown but events this week has proved otherwise. The latest twist in the donor saga is that Wendy Alexander, leader of the Labour Party in Scotland is also embroiled in a cash scandal where she unlawfully accepted £950. However, it is unlikely that she will resign as this would force Harriet Harman to go as well especially as she unlawfully accepted £5,000. Events are certainly taking over Gordon Brown's Government and spinning it out of control.
