Ieuan Wyn Jones, Deputy First Minister and Minster for Economy and Transport responded to my short debate this week and has again ruled out dualling the A40. Even though the statistics show that traffic has increased on the stretch of road from St Clears to Haverfordwest by 4.1% a year compared with the national average of 1.8%. I also argued that the A55 through his constituency has been dualled right through to the port of Holyhead which he campaigned for. However, it seems that what is good for the people of Ynys Mon is not good for the people of Pembrokeshire. As far as I'm concerned the fight will continue.
