Unfortunately, I am unable to attend next week's opening night but was given a tour of the Torch Theatre today where it has been totally refurbished. Walking into the new foyer certainly had a wow factor about it. It has been totally transformed from a tired old building into a facility which is fit for the 21st century. In addition to the actual theatre there is a studio facility, a gallery, a new bar and restaurant. This exciting new building will certainly be appropriate in marketing our arts and culture and I believe it will attract people not only from Pembrokeshire but from much further afield. I would encourage everyone to pay a visit.
