I have yet again been fortunate to be drawn in the private Member's short debate in the Assembly chamber this week. These debates, in my opinion, should be used to promote or highlight an issue in a Member's constituency. I intend to use this time to highlight the dental shortfall in Pembrokeshire where many of my constituents have written to me on this subject. Last year figures revealed that only 15% of Pembrokeshire people had access to an NHS dentist. The debate which will take place on Wednesday will require the Health Minister to respond. It will be interesting to note what steps the Assembly Government intend to take to address this serious issue for the people of Pembrokeshire.
