Roch Castle
Your lovely article on Roch Castle - Queen of the castle! A review of Roch Castle Hotel, Pembrokeshire - reminded me of a different use in the early fifties when it was leased by the MOD to provide a married quarter for the nearby Royal Air Force ,station, Folly Roch.
A Sergeant King, his wife and small boy lived happily there in 1950, the little boy was so delighted to live in a real castle. I was fortunate to take supper with them occasionally.
