A letter from Wales Air Ambulance volunteer fundraiser, Ann Evans
Dear Editor,
A few weeks ago, myself, Ann Evans and Teresa Harries held a coffee and cake morning in aid of the Wales Air Ambulance. We raised a massive £1,485.
We would like to thank Lorna at the Bowls Club for allowing us to hold the event there, and for all her hard work. Thanks go to our friends and neighbours , and all who donated and contributed to the event. Also Meilyr who entertained us at the keyboard.
Wales Air Ambulance is vital to our area, as we are so far away from any hospital.
The Air Ambulance brings the hospital to the patient. When you see that red helicopter in the sky, then you know that there is someone in serious need of help.
Countless lives have been saved by Wales Air Ambulance through serving Wales.
Thank you all for supporting the charity.
Diolch am cyfnogi Ambiwlans Awyr Cymru.
Yours sincerely,
Ann Evans, volunteer fundraiser, Cardigan
