The sitar is perhaps India's most well-known musical instrument. Today, a new and innovative generation of sitarists are carving out their own musical paths.
One of the most celebrated is Purbayan Chatterjee, who plays at the Queens Hall on Saturday. For this performance - the only one in Wales as part of his European tour - he will be joined by leading Khyal singer Amit Mukerjee and New York-based virtuoso tabla player, Samir Chatterjee.
