A rock and roll extravaganza hits the Torch Theatre this month, produced and performed by home-grown talent from across the county.
More from the Fabulous 50s and 60s is produced by Jeff Dunn, in conjunction with Explosive Productions. It will showcase vocal and dance talent from across Pembrokeshire.
Jeff said: “When we did the show in 2006 it proved to be a smash hit and many have been calling for it to be done again.
“The songs are different to the first show, but many of the performers are back again.”
The Vixens dance group will be on the bill, alongside young performers Aaron Lewis, Mark Venables, Bethan Davies and Tamsin Mathias.
The Torch Theatre’s Jerome Davies has also put together a rock group especially for the show, which will take place on Friday, February 26th, and Saturday, February 27th.
Other performers include Helen Boyce, David Stanley, Roger Arnold, Glyn John, Elaina Hoss and Nigel Orchard.
With more than 40 songs, there is a diverse selection of hits included to suit all tastes, from Eddie Cochran’s C’mon Everybody to Frank Sinatra’s That’s Life.
All the proceeds from the show will go to the Paul Sartori hospice at home charity. A grand raffle will be drawn on both evenings, with prizes including short break holidays.
Tickets, ranging in price from £5 to £8, are available from the Torch Theatre box office on 01646 695267.
