Tomorrow, Saturday, February 6th the BBC National Orchestra of Wales will be performing a swashbuckling family concert, Journeys and Adventures, at Sir Thomas Picton school, Haverfordwest.
The concert and musical exploration includes themes from Mission Impossible; 633 Squadron; Lord of the Rings; Lawrence of Arabia; Superman; Indiana Jones; Thunderbirds; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Doctor Who; E.T. and other pieces designed to introduce all members of the family to the power and amazing experience of a live orchestral concert.
The orchestra (pictured),will be joined by world famous Welsh conductor Grant Llewellyn, from Tenby, who will conduct and present the concert, leading the audience through the adventures and the music along the way.
The concert begins at 7pm with pre-concert fun and activities from 6.15pm and during the interval. Everyone is invited to join in with the theme of the event by coming in fancy dress as an adventurer or superhero.
