Whether it’s freaky family outings or devilish dance nights that tickle your fancy this Halloween, there is something to cater for all ages across Pembrokeshire on Friday.

Clubbers aged 18 and over are invited to dance under the cover of darkness at the Voodoo and Bazooka Halloween Ball at Matisse, Haverfordwest.

A guaranteed ghoulish night out for fans of hardcore dance, bouncers will be in for the fright of their lives when Matisse opens its doors to witches, ghosts, vampires and zombies for the special fancy dress event. There will be prizes for the best fancy dress and free drinks for everyone who shows up in Halloween costumes.

Voodoo Events has created some of Pembrokeshire’s longest-running hard dance nights at Matisse and has joined forces with Bazooka, which has presented previous acts, including Pendulum, Hixxy and Grooverider, to bring club membrs in Pembrokeshire a massive Halloween night to remember.

At the Halloween Ball, which runs from 9pm until 2am, room one will host Voodoo’s hard dance acts, including Andy Whitby, Chuck-E, Mars W, Shock:Force (Matt Thomas and Sully), ED, ET and DTR, Audio Junkiez and MCs Smiler and Mello D.

Room two in Matisse will host some of Bazooka’s exciting drum and bass acts with the likes of Crissy Criss (BBC Radio One Xtra), Hindsight and Unkani, Diamond Cartel, DJ Jaw, DJ ALX6 and MCs Hypnosis, Crissy D and Borstal Ben. There will also be some impressive sound and lighting technology and professional dancers.

Tickets cost £12 and are available from The Quay and Eclipse in Haverfordwest. There will be a bus running via Cardigan and Fishguard. Contact Matt on 07742 472167 for details. There is a strict over-18 policy and photo ID is essential.

If clubbing away the night of the undead isn’t quite your thing, The Lowri Evans Band will be taking the stage at the Cellar Bar in Cardigan, on Friday.

Lowri and Lee perform with a full band to give a bigger platform for her great songs, dynamic voice and superb accompaniment. Fancy dress is the name of the game at Cardigan’s notorious musical haunt and tickets cost £5.

The De Valence on Upper Frog Street, Tenby, is hosting Halloween Family Night on the same evening. Ghost and ghouls, witches and warlocks are all welcome to join in the fun with Fergie, the resident entertainer.

Games and prizes will be up for grabs and fancy dress is optional. Tickets cost £5 for a family of four and £1.50 per person. Contact 01834 843 568 for more details or visit www.devalence.
