This Saturday (April 5th) superb acoustic blues legend Doug MacLeodis performing at Narberth's Queens Hall when Span Arts presents Two Shades of Blues.
MacLeod is said to be one of the last remaining bluesmen who learned his craft from the old masters. He lived the music, survived the life, and now continues to bring the valuable tradition to the masses.
Doug is well known within the blues world for his quality recordings which feature superb song writing, guitar wizardry, warm soulful vocals, wit, and unforgettable live performances.
Like the old masters he learned from, Doug's music reflects his life and times and his musical expression can make the listener feel as if he knows each person inside out.
Supporting McLeod are Virgil and The Accelerators, a sensational blues band who blew away a sell-out audience on the final day of last year's Tenby Blues Festival.
Fronted by talented 16-year-old lead guitarist Virgil McMahon, much attention is currently being focussed on the four piece powerhouse blues act from Aberystwyth who will complete the lineup.
Tickets are £9 (£8 concessions) and are available from Span Arts on 01834 869323.
